The organic cotton is noticeably softer than the synthetic quilted jackets we tried before. The front zipper makes middle-of-the-night changes way less of a wrestling match, and it layers easily under a carrier or over a onesie.

Our baby wiggled constantly during dressing, but this jacket's front zipper made it so quick and easy to get on—and the quilted fabric is surprisingly cozy for such a lightweight layer.

I've washed this jacket probably ten times already and the quilted padding hasn't clumped or flattened at all. The zipper glides smoothly even when I'm wrestling a wiggly baby into it, which honestly saves me a few minutes every morning.
