The breakaway clasp on the chinstrap is genius, it pops off the second my daughter yanks it instead of choking her. We've used it at the beach twice now and her head stayed covered the whole time.
The hat is so lightweight my baby barely notices it’s on, and the velcro chin strap is easy to adjust. She stayed cool and protected at the beach all afternoon.
Bought this for my 8-month-old and it actually stays on her head, which is more than I can say for the two bucket hats we tried before. The velcro chinstrap is easy to undo one-handed but she can't yank it off herself. Took it to the splash pad and it dried in like ten minutes.
