My daughter actually keeps this on, which says a lot since she yanks off every other hat. The wide brim shades her whole face and the back flap covers her neck, so I'm not constantly chasing her with sunscreen at the park.
The neck flap on this hat is a lifesaver at the beach — no more sunscreen battles on the back of my daughter's neck. It's also made from recycled polyester, which I appreciate. She keeps it on for hours, which says a lot for a toddler.
